CHIMEI has consistently sought to meet the global trend in environmental protection by making the best effort to provide the safe products for the human health and environment. Therefore, starting from 2016, CHIMEI products will be compliant, ahead of schedule, with the new RoHS 2.0 standard scheduled to be officially imposed on July 22nd, 2019 according to the EU Directive 2015/863 (dated June 4, 2015), which increased the number of prohibited substances from six to ten. Moreover, from 2016 forward, the restricted substances and limits specified in Annex II of EU Directive 2015/863 will be used as the standards for all third-party RoHS test reports on CHIMEI products.
