Ecologue PCR ABS
CHIMEI’s Ecologue PCR ABS resin is a copolymer composed of styrene (SM), acrylonitrile (AN), and butadiene (BD), and contains post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials that have been mechanically recycled. Our expertise in ABS production and recycling technologies ensures that our PCR ABS maintains the same exceptional mechanical properties as its virgin equivalent. CHIMEI has built solid partnerships with qualified and licensed upstream suppliers to ensure stable quality and supply of PCR plastic. The material offers a high-gloss, ultra-high rigidity, tensile strength, and is well suited for use in home appliances, household items and office supplies. The environmental benefits of our PCR ABS resin are that it decreases virgin feedstock consumption and prevents plastic waste ending up in the environment. Ecologue PCR ABS is compliant with TDS-ISO, SDS, RoHS, SVHC, and international standards for environmental protection.
Ecologue PCR FR-PC
CHIMEI’s Ecologue PCR FR-PC resin is a polycarbonate (PC) containing post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics recovered by mechanical recycling. By leveraging our expertise in PC production, CHIMEI’s PCR FR-PC displays physical properties equivalent to virgin PC resin, including excellent flame retardancy. This makes it ideal for electrical appliance manufacturers as it reduces the risk of their products catching fire. PCR FR-PC reduces the use of virgin PC resin and adds value to plastic waste by incorporating it back into the production line as a raw material. Ecologue PCR FR-PC is compliant with TDS-ISO, SDS, RoHS, SVHC, and international standards for environmental protection.
Ecologue PCR FR-PC/ABS
CHIMEI’s Ecologue PCR FR-PC/ABS is a blend of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), containing post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials recovered by mechanical recycling. Thanks to our extensive knowledge in PC and ABS production and technology, CHIMEI successfully produces PCR FR-PC/ABS with physical properties equivalent to virgin PC alloy. Most notable are its excellent heat resistance and halogen-free flame retardancy. CHIMEI also implements a strict quality management and supplier assessment system to ensure our materials are high quality and come from a reliable source. Ecologue Bio-Based Plastic
CHIMEI Corporation introduced its sustainable material solution, Ecologue Bio ABS in March 2023. This Bio ABS is made possible by replacing petrochemical feedstock with bio-circular feedstock derived from non-food-related sources. It not only has the same performance as traditional ABS but can also reduce its carbon footprint to carbon neutrality or even negative emissions according to various content of bio feedstock, providing a forward-looking choice for high-performance materials to meet the sustainability needs of various industries. With ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) PLUS certification, we have the capability to produce all grades of ABS, SAN, MS (SMMA) from biomass feedstocks, in near future we will expand certification coverage to all of our plastic products. Ecologue Bio-based Rubber
CHIMEI Corporation introduced its sustainable material solution, Ecologue Bio HBR in March 2023. This Bio HBR is made possible by replacing petrochemical feedstock with bio-circular feedstock derived from non-food-related sources. It not only has the same performance as traditional HBR but can also reduce its carbon footprint to carbon neutrality or even negative emissions according to various content of bio feedstock, providing a forward-looking choice for high-performance materials to meet the sustainability needs of various industries. With ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) PLUS certification, we have the capability to produce all grades of HBR, LBR, SSBR from biomass feedstocks, in near future we will expand certification coverage to all of our rubber products. Ecologue PCR PC
CHIMEI’s Ecologue PCR PC resin is a polycarbonate (PC) containing post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics recovered by mechanical recycling. By leveraging our expertise in PC production, CHIMEI’s PCR PC displays physical properties equivalent to virgin PC resin, including transparency, high heat resistance, ultra high impact resistance, and dimensional stability. This material is suitable for all 3C products, instrument products, automotive parts, sporting goods, sanitary hygiene products, etc. PCR PC reduces the use of virgin PC resin and adds value to plastic waste by incorporating it back into the production line as a raw material. Ecologue PCR PC is compliant with TDS-ISO, SDS, RoHS, SVHC, and international standards for environmental protection.
Ecologue Chemically Recycled Plastic
CHIMEI Corporation introduced its sustainable material solution, Ecologue Chemically Recycled MS (CR MS) in March 2024. By introducing chemical recycling technologies, namely "depolymerization" and "purification", we turned waste PMMA plastics back into recycled MMA monomers, and then polymerized them and SM monomers into Ecologue CR MS resin. Chemically recycled products have several key features. The properties remain consistent with virgin materials, and the products’ carbon footprint is reduced by lowering the use of fossil fuel raw materials. Moreover, the damage to the Earth is reduced because waste plastics are recycled and reused instead of discarded. It is a comprehensive sustainable material solution that can achieve high quality, carbon reduction, and plastic reduction.
