CHIMEI Corporation has been awarded a Gold Medal rating in the EcoVadis 2023 Sustainability Assessment. The Corporation has improved its performance from 2022, coming in this year in the top 3% out of the 100,000 companies participating in the global assessment, compared to being in the top 5% last year. In this year’s assessment, CHIMEI performed exceptionally in the Labor & Human Rights and Environment categories, ranking in the top 2% and 7% globally within the industry. In the Ethics and Sustainable Procurement categories, CHIMEI maintained its previous good performance.

EcoVadis is a well-known global business sustainability ratings platform that aims to promote the sustainable development of global supply chains. It assesses approximately 100,000 companies from more than 175 countries across 200 industries each year. EcoVadis assesses companies on 4 main criteria: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. CHIMEI has achieved the Gold Medal rating from EcoVadis for two years in a row, demonstrating its leading overall performance in sustainable development that has allowed it to receive high global recognition for its efforts. In its assessment comments, EcoVadis praised CHIMEI for having proactively implemented ESG policies, as well as for having an advanced management system. These factors were instrumental in allowing CHIMEI to rise above the competition in this assessment.
