CHIMEI Corporation has once again received the highest Platinum rating from EcoVadis in 2025. This achievement places CHIMEI among the top 1% of over 150,000 companies globally assessed by EcoVadis, highlighting its outstanding performance across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized sustainability rating platform that helps companies assess their social and environmental responsibility performance, offering improvement suggestions based on their scores. The number of participating companies continues to grow annually, with increasingly diverse assessment criteria covering all aspects of ESG. To date, around 150,000 companies from over 185 countries and approximately 250 industries have taken part in EcoVadis evaluations. As corporate awareness of sustainability rises, competition for the evaluation has intensified, and the score thresholds have been raised accordingly.

Compared to the 2024 assessment, CHIMEI made significant progress in the Sustainable Procurement category this year. This advancement is attributed to the proactive adoption of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) certification at the platinum level, which enhanced supply chain management and responsible procurement systems, strengthened environmental, health, and safety protocols, and fostered a more employee-friendly workplace. The Ethics category also saw notable advancement, with CHIMEI continuing to improve its information security management system through ISO 27001 certification and implementing an anti-bribery management system via ISO 37001, ensuring integrity in operations and transparency in corporate governance. The company has also maintained excellent performance in the Environment and Labor & Human Rights categories.

Since first participation in the EcoVadis assessment in 2021, CHIMEI has continuously optimized its sustainability performance and regularly reviewed its corporate sustainability strategies. Achieving the highest Platinum rating in both 2024 and 2025 underscores CHIMEI’s leadership and long-term commitment in the field of sustainability, earning international recognition.
