CHIMEI Group announce the launch of our summer internship program, aimed at nurturing talent for a sustainable and robust future. Committed to SDGs and DEI by creating a sustainable and diverse working environment, we initiated the program in July, simultaneously in Taiwan and Zhenjiang, with the goal of investing in next generation and attracting outstanding talent to our company.
The CHIMEI Corporation Internship Program, which ran from July 1 to August 9, accepted students from renowned universities and graduate schools, covering a wide range of professional fields. Zhenjiang CHIMEI launched the "Colleague's Children Summer Internship Activity" included junior high, high school, and university students interning at the company, which fostering parent-child relationships and stimulating the imagination and growth of the students.
To ensure the interns received comprehensive training and hands-on experience, we specially arranged a "one-on-one instructor" for each student in both Taiwan and Zhenjiang. The students were assigned to relevant internship departments based on their expertise and learning aspirations, ensuring they gained ample knowledge and experience during their internship.
During the six-week program at CHIMEI Corporation, interns not only learned about corporate culture but also completed a series of intensive safety training, including operational safety, hazardous chemical education, and fire training. Furthermore, we presented our commitment to balanced growth, such as carbon reduction processes, sustainable product development, and digital transformation to the interns. We also arranged for the interns to visit the Green Energy Park and CHIMEI Museum to gain a deeper understanding of CHIMEI’s dedication to ESG.
The "Colleague's Children Summer Internship Activity" hosted by Zhenjiang CHIMEI included an "Open Day" for junior and high school students and a two-week "Internship Week" for university students.
The "Open Day" event, was only one day but rich in content, including conveying CHIMEI’s corporate culture, product introduction, environmental protection lecture, factory tours, and fire extinguishing practice experiences. The "Internship Week" attracted university students from several professional fields, with experienced one-on-one mentors guiding the students to integrate theoretical knowledge with actual work.
CHIMEI Group's summer internship program aims to help students to enhance their practical abilities through actual industry education and training. We hope that these programs can bring outstanding talent to the company, creating a win-win situation and fulfilling our corporate social responsibility.
