Chimei Corporation, in accordance with the requirement for high quality electronic chemical development, began R&D for the formulation ingredient of the RBM in 2000, which has been successfully mass produced by the LCD industry since 2003. So far, considerable R&D and production technology has been accumulated with a number of exclusive patents. The RBM developed by our company are primarily used for LCD screens, touch panels, and IC component manufacturing and can be divided into two categories based on their application: High OD and High Impedance RBM.

Chimei's color bands use acrylic resin and photosensitive polymer combinations to achieve the goal of high contrast and high penetration, which can meet the customers' requirements for TFT-LCE or OLED color filters and achieve low power consumption and high color saturation.
